Eagle Nickel Limited is an exploration company with an exciting portfolio of projects targeting nickel, uranium, and molybdenum mineral commodities. Immediate exploration priority will be with the granted tenements of the nickel projects, and the granted molybdenum tenements. Comprehensive planning of work will be undertaken in preparation for the granting of the tenements, for the uranium projects.
A budget and proposed exploration program has been prepared for each of the company’s project areas in readiness to commence work. Exploration will be undertaken in a staged and comprehensive manner by experienced personnel.
This section contains a summary of the company’s projects and an indication of their proposed exploration. The focus and direction of this exploration may change with future exploration results. Applicants should refer to the independent Geologist’s Report in Section 5 for further details of the Company’s projects.
Dear Investor,
Eagle Nickel Limited was incorporated to acquire and explore for nickel, uranium and other mineral resources. Anybody who has followed the financial press over the last 12 months will be well aware that the uranium and nickel resources in particular are in demand and prices have risen strongly in the last decade.
The Company has a number of projects, all in Western Australia prospective for nickel, uranium, molybdenum and platinum.
Company policy is to focus on projects with the potential to host world class ore bodies in Western Australia.
With the recent increase in nickel prices over the last decade, I find these results personally very exciting. Recent price increases have made even lower grades than these economic, in some instances.
The other projects all cover areas with anomalous sample values and/or geochem radiometric anomalies.
The Company’s board of directors includes two experienced and qualified geologists.
The Company proposes using advanced exploration methods such as innovative magnetic and cutting edge mobile metal ion (MMI) sampling methods that can detect mineral deposits at depth under soil cover.
It should be noted that in Western Australia the State Government has a restrictive policy on uranium mining and processing. Changes in policy may take time to develop but favourable changes to the regulatory environment in Western Australia if they occurred (but this is not certain) would be expected to have a positive effect on the Company.
The Company believes that its projects are highly prospective for the discovery of significant nickel and other resources at a time when there is well publicized demand and often buoyant prices from export markets such as China, India and Japan.
All of the company’s nickel projects have granted tenements which will be the immediate focus of work, while further planning will take place on the additional exploration licence applications in readiness for their granting.
Some exploration drilling, has taken place on the Hooley Project by previous explorers with encouraging results recorded from one drill hole and this will be the focus of early exploration on this project. Previous exploration by others on the Imagi Well Project, have recovered anomalous results with an indication of the presence
of a layered igneous intrusion. This will be the immediate focus of exploration on this project.
