Lake Moore Project E59/1334
The Lake Moore Project targets uranium mineralisation within a Tertiary Lake System, which overlies a radiogenic Archaean basement granite. Lake Moore is a dry playa lake located south of Paynes Find, 320km north-east of Perth on the Yilgarn Craton.
Previous sampling of bore water showed anomalous uranium values in the area. Previous exploration focused on the eastern side of the lake. It is considered that uranium mineralisation may be on the western side of the lake close to the radiogenic granite where there is a 23km arcuate radiometric trend which may host paleo-channel mineralisation.
Exploration Programme
A radiometric survey will be carried out over the western side of the lake to defi ne the trend shown on the aerial survey. Drilling will take place over this trend extending well to each side of it to locate a potential paleo-channel which may host uranium mineralisation.
