NORTHAMPTON – E66/57, E66/77-78, E70/3267 & ELA70/3905

The Northampton project group of tenements is comprised of 4 granted exploration licences covering 409km2 and 1 exploration licence application covering 310km2 in the mid west region of Western Australia. The region is a recognised lead producer with the former Northampton State Lead Battery (1954 – 1983) established to promote lead mining in the Northampton Mineral Field.

Waterloo (E66/57)

Exploration has been ongoing within the greater Northampton area for several decades and has resulted in a substantial amount of amount of open file data being accumulated. The majority of the accumulated open file exploration database was associated with tenement E66/57. Research revealed that CRA Ltd had previously actively explored the Northampton field and undertaken geophysical survey work including aerial GEOTEM and magnetic data, primarily targeting only large scale deposits.

Lady Sampson (E70/3267)

Open file research located 5 historical BLEG gold samples which had returned anomalous results relative to background values. Background values typically range up to 0.01 ppb whereas the historical samples ranged from 0.2 - 0.53 Au ppb. All anomalous samples were located within a drainage system broadly coincident with the Yandi Fault. Some of the historical anomalous results were check sampled during the September 2010 quarter and results are very encouraging (see Fig.1). Repeat sample assays are listed below in Table 1.

MARY SPRINGS (E66/66 & E66/75)

The Mary Springs Project is comprised of two granted exploration licences covering 56km2 and located approximately 50km east-southeast of Kalbarri on the western coast of Western Australia. These two small tenements were acquired as part of the Northampton Sale Agreement with Swancove Enterprises Pty Ltd and are subject to and conditional upon shareholder approval.

Following an open file search on the Mary Springs Project tenements, a total of 11 rock chip samples were collected and submitted for multi-element analysis during the September 2010 quarter. Results were very encouraging with some considered to be strongly anomalous (see Table 2).

Approximately 50% of tenement E66/66 is on Aboriginal freehold land. The company is in the process of preparing a land access agreement for submission to representative legal bodies but have a standing verbal agreement to access the ground and undertake non-ground disturbing work. A single lateritic rock chip was taken due to limited track access and the fact that the paddock was under crop and submitted for multi- element analysis. As expected, the analytical results were anomalous and further work will be planned as soon as harvesting is completed and all access issues have been finalised (see Table 3).
